Mary Steelsmith:
Playwright

Hello, beautiful world!

I am a published playwright who specializes in writing short and one-act plays. My work often appears in festivals; some have won awards nationally and internationally.

One of my full-length plays, "Isaac, I am", won the national Helford Prize. It was first presented at Jacksonville University and recently chosen as an official selection for the Fritz Blitz in San Diego.

Most of my plays feature good strong roles for women. They are ideal for theater students and professionals alike.

I am also an actor. See my resume here. My latest acting gig was in the BAFTA-LA award-winning short film "The Sunday Man". Click here for a free viewing of 'The Sunday Man.'
